Beyond The Badge NY and Seaford Little League to present the 2nd Angels in the Outfield Championship Saturday
June 8th, 2024 at 9:15am in Seamans Neck Park, Seaford NY
The All-star game will have 40 children playing and wearing the names of our Beyond the Badge officer’s names who left this world too soon on the back of their jersey. The children are extremely excited to be playing for Officers who are Heroes! We always say it’s not how one died that matters, rather how they lived. Every single Officer being honored in this event gave years of their life to protecting and serving. The efforts and sacrifices should never be forgotten.
Additionally, we want to bring the kids and officers together to raise awareness for mental health & anti- bullying within children. We want children to know to be kind always, & that it’s okay to feel anxious or sad. We want them to find comfort in knowing that there is always someone that they can turn to for help. Whether they’re parent, a coach or even a police officer.
We invited the family, friends & co worker’s of our Angels In The Outfield to join us.

Beyond the Badge, Inc. is a volunteer-based organization comprised of current and former members of the law enforcement and first responder communities and their families. We are dedicated to raising awareness regarding the mental health and suicide crisis among first responders, and to facilitating financial support and services to first responders and their families affected by the crisis. While the organization offers peer-to-peer support and assists in identifying mental health care providers who have experience with members of the law enforcement and first responder communities, its staff and volunteers do not and can not diagnose, assess, or treat any physical or mental disorder or disability.
