Beyond The Badge NY strongly believes in honoring the memory of those officers we lost too soon, who died by suicide. It is not about how they died, rather how they lived. Each one of these officers gave many years of themselves to protect the members of the communities in which they served.
Their hard work, dedication, and bravery should never be forgotten, and their memory should live on forever.

Beyond the Badge, Inc. is a volunteer-based organization comprised of current and former members of the law enforcement and first responder communities and their families. We are dedicated to raising awareness regarding the mental health and suicide crisis among first responders, and to facilitating financial support and services to first responders and their families affected by the crisis. While the organization offers peer-to-peer support and assists in identifying mental health care providers who have experience with members of the law enforcement and first responder communities, its staff and volunteers do not and can not diagnose, assess, or treat any physical or mental disorder or disability. If you or someone you know is having suicidal thoughts or experiencing a mental health crisis, call 911 if there is immediate danger.
